Avdar believes in minimalism, where 1 simple toy can replace at least 5 other toys. Modern families are decluttered, and conscious on consuming. They believe in nature, where everything is beautiful and safe. All the toys are made using solid wood and non toxic water based paint. Every step of their production is handmade.

More importantly, Avdar believes in open-ended play, where a child chooses the way to play his or her own toys. Open-ended toys are played entirely according to the child's imagination and creativity. It is not limited to a certain purpose or result, and the more play the more valuable it is to the child. And with open-ended play, it is all about limitless possibilities. 

All Avdar products conform with the European Union EN71, China Gb6675, ASTM and CPSIA, KC and other children's toys safety certifications, making it free of formaldehyde, other harmful chemical composition and heavy metal transfer.

AVDAR is a young brand with multiple cultural background developed by Evgeny (from Russia) and Lulu (from Mongolia). Evgeny always wanted to work with wood, and they have often talked about having a small studio. All the dreams came true  when they become parents. In 2016 they did the first wooden rack for their son, and that was the beginning of our story. 

Please note: All Avdar toys are hand crafted and not mass produced. With that, it is normal to have variation in terms of paint color, wood color, and small size variations. It is also normal to have some imperfection in the coating of the paint and/or for the paint to rub off between toys. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions Avdar toys.
